Hunting from a hide at dawn and dusk is a typical European hunt for deer, roe deer, and wild boar, available year-round according to the hunting calendar, in unfenced territories.

The hunter is always accompanied on the hide by an experienced guide who, together with the hunter, will decide on the animal to be taken.

For this type of hunt, wildlife censuses are carried out annually to determine the hunting quotas in absolute respect of the animals.

There is great respect for wounded game; in fact, each guide uses a dog adequately trained to track blood, usually the morning after the hunting action.
