ITALY

LA CENTURIONA

Gavi - Piedmont

Beautiful 360-hectare property in Lower Piedmont, in the province of Alessandria. There are two hunting lodges: one inside the palace and the other 300 metres away, with nine rooms available for our guest hunters.

Cultivated areas are minimal, and the entire territory is dedicated to hunting activities. The reserve lies between the Lemme and Ardana rivers, which contribute to forming its natural boundaries. Woods, meadows, vineyards, uncultivated lands make Centuriona a beautiful hunting territory, with 19 hunting stands distributed throughout the area and an equal number of feeding stations. The largest populations in the territory are roe deer, wild boar, and fallow deer, as well as small game: hares, pheasants, and red-legged partridges.

The hunting season starts on 15 August with the shooting of male roe deer, to resume in November, December, and January with females and young fallow deer and roe deer. Wild boar are harvested throughout the year under the provincial decree "species control."

Good game-based cuisine delights the beautiful hunting days.
